Blue Angel seems to be a very comedic novel, some of the jokes are pretty funny. His attention seems to be weak, he keeps wandering into his own thoughts. Seems to represent how he feels as a person. He may be unsatisfied with how he is right now, maybe with his wife or his career. Seems to be bored when the students are speaking of their bizarre stories and endings.
